The
Believer’s Unfathomable Riches in Christ
When
people accept Jesus
Christ as their personal Savior they are enriched with every spiritual
blessing
in Christ and declared to be complete in Christ. The Apostle Paul
refers to
these blessings as “the unfathomable riches of
Christ.” The idea is that the
believer’s blessings in Christ are “too deep to be
measured.” Many of these
blessings, however, are clearly defined in the Bible. The following 34
effects
are unconditionally promised a person as a member of the body of Christ
as
stated in God’s holy Word.
If Jesus Christ is not
received by faith as the
only begotten Son of God who died on the cross to pay the penalty for
sin, our
sin, and rose again to ever rule with God the Father, then these
blessings are
forfeited.
