If you believe that God is some
omnipotent Being
who hears all prayers, says "yes" to some,
"no" to others, and "maybe, but not now" to the rest,
you are mistaken. The answer to your prayer depends upon what you
believe?
This is God's plan for you. This is His
ideal:
that He should become realized through you.
Worry is the activity of a mind
that does not understand its
connection with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
It takes great courage to announce
oneself as a man of God.
You
understand, the world will much
more readily accept you
as virtually anything else.
For thousands of years people have
disbelieved
the promises of God
for the most extraordinary reason:
they were too good to be true.
The question is not, why start off on
such a path?
You have already started off.
You did so with the first beat of your heart. The question is:
Do I wish to walk this path consciously, or unconsciously?
Your life work is a statement of Who You
Are.
If it is not, then why are you doing it?
You are telling me that you haven't
always
gotten what you wanted.
Yet I am here to tell you that you've always gotten
what you called
forth. Your life is always a result of your thoughts about it.
If you knew Who You Are.........
that you are the most magnificent, the most remarkable,
the most splendid being God has ever created.........
you would never fear. For who could reject such wondrous magnificence?
The most difficult thing for people to do
is hear their own soul.
(Notice that so few people do.)
You can't go wrong. It's not part of the
plan.
There's no way not to get where you are going.
There's no way to miss your destination.
If God is your target, you're in luck,
because God is so big, you can't miss.
All of the Holy Scriptures...
of every religious persuasion and tradition
contain the clear admonition: Do not fear.
Do you think this is by accident?
Life is eternal for those who believe in
God. You are immortal if you accept Jesus Christ as Lord.
Eternal Life is this...to know God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
